I grew up in love with bulldogs. My dad had advertisement pamphlets from the 1940s of bulldogs-they cost $75.00 and were shipped in wooden crates by train. I always said I would have one when I grew up. John and I got our first bulldog in 1977. She was the only one left from a litter of eleven, cost $110 and turned out to have
ears that stood up straight. She was a great girl and we and
our daughters loved her very much.
We didn't show or breed until 1994 and had our first champion,
CH Lorelu's Golden Gordo O'Sims. We had several other
bullies throughout the years, but the real start of the whole
thing happened in December 1998 when CH Simca's Frosty
Margarita was born. She became a Champion at 12 months
and Best in Specialty Show Winner at 12 month and 1 day, and we
were hooked.
We soon realized the importance of health and temperament
and have strived with each litter to better the breed. We
usually have one or two litters a year and seem to end up
keeping more than we place. John and I are retired now and
spend a lot of time with grandkids and bullies. If you are ever
in Middle Georgia stop by and see us and meet our kids..
